Hello! I’m an artist and a writer from Portland, Maine. I graduated from Northern Michigan University with double majors in Illustration and Writing, and I’m currently working an admin job in higher ed. I enjoy running around local trails with my friends, listening to power metal and prog metal, and painting outdoors.
Writing
I am currently seeking representation for my debut novel One Earth, One Lonely Sky, a soft sci-fi queer romance set in the weeks following the alien invasion of modern-day Earth.
Visual Art
The latest incarnation of my art business is Wayward Wing Studio. The dream is to establish an online storefront selling originals, prints/cards, and clothing and other products featuring my artwork, and to attend local craft fairs and art walks. The rebranding process is still underway, largely because I spent most of 2023 writing a book! I used to work digitally, but I currently prefer painting with gouache (opaque watercolors, pronounced gwash) and water-mixable oils.
